Only using 1 GB, it went over 700 MB/s write, still 300 MB/s read.You will be surprised at the drive's solid weight and size in hand, as it is fully encased in metal. The port covers are also metal and click closed securely. As pictured, note that the USB-A port cover, when open, sits at a right angle to some length, so depending on the orientation of your USB-A port and its proximity to a desk surface, you might have issues physically negotiating the cover while inserting the drive, but this can be worked aroud.Since the drive is dual port, you'll never have to worry about having the right USB adapter, making for great ease of use. Overall, this is an excellent and very competitive drive well worth your consideration.
